1971 remains an iconic year for the Parisian fashion house of Saint Laurent as it marks the emergence of founder Yves Saint Laurent's Scandal collection, which caused outrage among the public, critics and press. Honouring this momentous year, Anthony Vaccarello decorates the back of this classic cotton gabardine military parka jacket with a multicoloured glittered 1971 logo patch. Cut to finish just below the hips, the jacket features a classic collar bordered with epaulettes on the shoulders, a central concealed button placket and a set of four front pockets. The added addition of a drawstring internal waist allows this piece to be manipulated to suit the wearer's style.
